Leigh Botts is the new at this school and this boy is already stealing his lunch.Leigh has been writing to a famous author named Boyd Henshaw for the last past two weeks everyday when he comes home from school.Also, he has been writing a book in school today for the class year book but he doesnt know what to write about he has alot of ideas but he doesnt think that he has what it takes to win first or second place for this year.Also, leigh still has problems at home between his mother and his father the problem is that they are just now coming over a divorce and he aks his mom why she would not have got back with him this year and she said becauuse he will never grow up.
Then his mom told him to drop the conversation and invite barry over for dinner since you have been eating over there for the past weeks so until he calls barry he doesnt believe that he might not come if he asks but then he says yes because he doesnt want to stay there with his siters and watch them play with chinese chopsticks and waving them in his face everyday.Then leigh goes over barrys house and he spends time over there so that he could work on the alarm in his room to keep out his sisters.then when he went up to his room barry asked weather the sign "KEEP OUT MOM THAT MEANS YOU".Then barry wishes that he had a sign that could have one of his own.They both wish that they had each others life bacause leigh has a sign up that keeps people out of his all the time and barry has both of his parents and he loves them both because leigh wishes that he has his dad back so that things could get back to normal.
Then when leigh went back to school that day he met Angela Babger and he got chosing to go eat with her at the salad bar in a hotel even though he got honorable mention he still got chosing because the other girl that got chosing got eleminated from the contest because she wrote a book that was copyed and since he got honorable mention he got to go if he wanted to he really didnt want to go because she mostly wrote a book that deals with girl problems and thing he told to himself that if it was Boyd Henshaw he would have been really mad that he didnt win 1st or 2nd place.Then onedaty leigh had a very bad day in school thinking about his dad each and everyday the way that he gets calm is if he goes out to watch the butterflys and wonder were did the rest of them go.Also,leigh still had honorable mention and he is still writing to Boyd Henshaw.
